The story:
The opera begins with Prince Tamino being chased by a monster lion! A Lady saves
him and then he meets Papageno, a friendly Bird Catcher. Papageno gives him a
picture of a beautiful girl named Pamina, daughter of the Queen of the Night. Tamino
falls in love with Pamina at first sight, but the Queen is mean and scary. Pamina is
lonely and unhappy and her father, Sarastro, comforts her. Tamino has a Magic Flute
which he uses to find Pamina. Meanwhile, Papageno keeps hoping to find a love for
himself. After much searching, wishes are granted, and the opera ends with joy and
rejoicing!
