Step into the swank of 1960s Monte Carlo, where martinis were shaken, stakes were high, and style was everything.

Opera on the James invites you to Moonlight Over Monte Carlo, an evening of elegance, wit, and operatic sparkle in support of live vocal artistry in Central Virginia.

Inspired by the glamour of the Riviera and the golden age of European sophistication, this signature gala transforms the Warehouse Theatre into a chic cabaret lounge. Guests will enjoy cocktails, a delightful dinner by Avenue Foods, and captivating performances by Opera on the James’ Tyler Young Artists. Throughout the evening, our rising stars will present a vibrant mix of opera favorites, Broadway gems, and American Songbook classics in an intimate, stylish setting.

The evening also features a live auction and paddle raise supporting Opera on the James’ Tyler Young Artist program, with its commitment to artistic excellence, community engagement, and the development of emerging professional singers.
