Alissa Roca

Soprano

Soprano Alissa Roca’s most recent roles include Yum-Yum in The Mikado for Young Victorian Theatre, and Morgana in Handel’s Alcina for Meadows Opera Theater.   She recently completed a Performer’s Diploma at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas where she performed the title role in Carlisle Floyd’s Susannah, the Queen of the Night in Mozart’s The Magic Flute, and Adina in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore with Meadows Opera.    Alissa has also performed as a soloist with the Dallas Symphony, the Dallas Winds, the Miami Bach Society, Voices of Change, and the University of Texas New Music ensemble.  She graduated with a Master of Music from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performances from the University of Miami Frost School of Music.
