ADELAIDE MUIR TROMBETTA

Adelaide Muir Trombetta joined the faculty of Liberty University in 2009, after completing performances in Zurich, Switzerland and Catania, Italy. Mrs. Trombetta is well experienced in the professional opera and concert scene having performed numerous leading roles such as Musetta in La Bohème, Euridice in Orpheus in the Underworld, Pamina in Die Zauberflöte, and Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus. Adelaide has enjoyed repeated seasons with L'Orchestra Giuseppe Verdi of Milan, Italy performing leading roles of Hanna Glawari (The Merry Widow), Euridice (Orpheus in the Underworld), Ana (The Seven Deadly Sins by Kurt Weil), and Lilli Vanessi "Katharina" (Kiss me Kate).

Beyond opera, Adelaide has performed solo roles in Orff's Carmina Burana, Pergolesi's Stabat Mater, Beethoven's Choral Fantasy, Poulenc's Gloria, Handel's Messiah, Haydn's The Creation, and more. She continues to gain recognition in performances and competitions including becoming a National Finalist for the Metropolitan National Council Auditions, leading to performances with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra in New York City.
