NORA MOORE

Nora returns to Lynchburg with her personal charm and “genuine
pearlescence” soprano voice, recently singing the role of Despina in Opera
on the James’ production of Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte (2007). Nora has
performed title roles in Gluck’s Orfeo and Euridice, Humperdinck’s Hansel
and Gretel, Barab’s Little Red Riding Hood, and as Henrietta in the New
England premiere of The Construction of Boston. She has performed
leading roles with Central Piedmont Opera Theatre, including Leila in The
Pearl Fishers and Edith in The Pirates of Penzance. Her debut with Opera
Carolina was in a supporting role as the spirit in Macbeth.
