JAMES TAYLOR

James Taylor has sung with such companies as the New York City Opera National Company, San Francisco Opera, Central City Opera, Hawaii Opera Theatre, Virginia Opera, Connecticut Grand Opera, and the Ash Lawn Highland Festival. In the summer of 2008, with the help of Jackson Sheats, he moved up into the tenor ranks. His first contracts include covering Manrico in Il Trovatore, with the Virginia Opera, Don Jose in Carmen with the Asheville Lyric Opera, concerts with the Duluth Festival Opera and Opera on the James, concerts in Hanover, Germany, and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with the Prince William Symphony. James lives in Richmond with his wife Sheridan and their two daughters Virginia and Meg.
