YUNAH LEE
Soprano, Yunah Lee is scheduled to sing Madama Butterfly with De Vlamms Opera in Belgium, Braunschweig Opera in Germany, Lake George Opera, and NYASO at Alice Tully Hall in New York. In 2005, Ms. Lee made her European Opera debut as Madama Butterfly with Bern State Opera in Switzerland, followed by a concert with Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona. With New York City Opera, she has sung Micaela, Antonia, Gretel, Dew Fairy, Zerlina, Mimi, and Madama Butterfly. She made her debut with the Sao Paulo Opera as Micaela. She also has sung with Opera Ireland, Korea National Opera, Palm Beach Opera, Minnesota Opera, Orlando Opera, Cleveland Opera, Toledo Opera, Intermountain Opera, El Paso Opera, Kalamazoo Symphony and Opera Roanoke in the roles of Liu, Donna Elvira, Marguerite, Juliette, Leila, Pamina and Nedda among others. Her concert appearances include solo recitals at Carnegie Hall, Tokyo Arts Center, Seoul Arts Center, San Pedro Hall, and Shanghai Music Hall. She recently recorded Four Seasons of Korea with I Musici on the Arcadia label. A native of Taegu, Korea, Ms. Lee is a Juilliard Opera Center alumna, and holds a master's degree from Juilliard and a bachelor's degree from Hanyang University.
