Peter Kendall Clark biography
Baritone Peter Kendall Clark is a distinguished interpreter of contemporary and standard opera, musical theater and concert works. This past season he portrayed Sweeney Todd for his debut with Opera St. Petersburg, a role that will also mark his 2015 Hawaii Opera Theater debut. 2013-2014 season: debuts with Virginia Opera as King Arthur in Camelot and with Teatro Grattacielo in Alfano’s rarely performed opera Sakùntala (for which the New York Times cited his “articulate baritone” as the Equerry), and John Adam’s in Chelsea Opera’s A Distant Love. Other recent NYC appearances: the title role of Eugene Onegin for Opera Slavica, and Joe in DiCapo Opera Theater’s The Most Happy Fella “… a strapping, energetic Joe (whose) soothingly sexy rendition of “Don’t Cry” was, in its own way, the most memorable vocal moment of the show” -OPERA NEWS.
