Evan Bravos, Baritone

Evan Bravos, Greek-American baritone, has been praised for his “strong singing and acting” and marked as “a young talent to watch” (Chicago Tribune). Mr. Bravos recently debuted the titular role in Don Giovanni as guest artist at the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival. Earlier in the 2016-2017 season, he covered one of his signature roles, Tom Joad in The Grapes of Wrath at Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, sang Harashta in The Cunning Little Vixen, Morales and Dancairo in Carmen at Opera Santa Barbara and toured Paris, Strasbourg and Munich as the baritone soloist in the Faure Requiem with the Colorado Symphony Chorus. As an Emerging Artist at Virginia Opera, he covered the roles of Paris/Gregorio in Roméo et Juliette. Other notable performances include Count Almaviva in Le Nozze di Figaro and Herr Zeller in The Sound of Music at Central City Opera, Figaro in Il Barbiere di Siviglia with Lyric Opera of Chicago’s Outreach, and Martin in Candide at the Aspen Music Festival.

A native of St. Charles, Illinois, Mr. Bravos attended Lawrence University Conservatory (B.M.) and Northwestern University’s Bienen School of Music (M.M.). Learn more about this artist at www.evanbravos.com.
