Opera on the James closes its 19th Season at Historic Point of Honor June 9th at 5:00 with an outdoor family concert sure to delight audiences of all ages. Jobson and Reed return to Lynchburg afer February performances at Randolph College and Lynchburg City Schools as part of Randolph’s celebration of Black History Month.

General admission is $35. VIP tickets (reserved prime view area) are $75. Student tickets are $15; Children age 12 and under who are accompanied by an adult attend at no cost. Limited tickets are available; advance ticket purchase is highly recommended. Please call 434.528.3397

The company was created by a group of city leaders and opera lovers to share the power and beauty of live opera with diverse audiences in Central Virginia and beyond. The Board of Directors of Opera on the James and dedicated volunteers are very active in the work of the company.
